SINGLE CORE WIRES (450/750V)

• Single-core wires with copper conductors and PVC insulation, manufactured in compliance with SSA 1320, IEC 60227, and BS 6004 standards.

• These wires are designed for lighting and power installations in residential and commercial buildings, suitable for use in surface-mounted or embedded conduits.

KEY FEATURES

• Rated Voltage: Up to 1000V AC and 750V DC to earth

• Conductor: Annealed copper conductor in accordance with IEC 60228, available in Class 1, Class 2, Class 5, and Class 6

• Insulation: High-quality PVC insulation

LOW VOLTAGE POWER CABLES

Low-voltage power cables with PVC or XLPE insulation, for copper or aluminium conductors, are available in armoured and unarmoured designs, with single-core and multicore constructions. A wide range of sheath materials and colour options is available. Cable constructions shall comply with IEC 60502-1, BS 6346, and BS 5467, as applicable.

Conductors

Conductors shall be made of copper or aluminium, circular stranded (non-compacted or compacted) or shaped, Class 2, in accordance with IEC 60228 or BS EN 60228.

INSULATION

• XLPE material and thickness shall comply with IEC 60502-1 or BS 5467, suitable for 90°C continuous operating temperature.

• PVC material and thickness shall comply with IEC 60502-1 or BS 6346.

Armour (when required)

Armouring shall be applied in accordance with IEC 60502-1, BS 5467, or BS 6346, as applicable, and may consist of:

• Galvanised steel wire (SWA)

• Double steel tape (STA)

• Aluminium wire armour (AWA) for single-core cables

Outer Sheath

• Outer Sheath will be extruded PVC, Type ST2 as per IEC 60502-1 and Type 9 as per BS 7655.

• Special types of PVC sheathing material, such as fire-retardant PVC (IEC 60332-3-22, IEC 60332-3-23 and IEC 60332-3 – 24), anti-termite and anti-rodent PVC, ultraviolet PVC, oil-resistant PVC, etc., are available, as well as special sheathing materials such as LLDPE, MDPE, HDPE, LSHF (IEC 60502-1 and BS 6724), etc.

MEDIUM & HIGH VOLTAGE POWER CABLES

• The medium-voltage power cables range is available with Copper or Aluminium conductors.

• Available with copper Wires or copper Tapes metallic screen with customized short-circuit current capacity.

• Available with special construction as per project specifications.
